Tracy Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Maria Valenzuela as New CEO

The Tracy Chamber of Commerce, a prominent organization supporting local businesses in Tracy, California, recently announced the appointment of Maria Valenzuela as its new CEO. A History of Dedication and Success: Maria Valenzuela’s journey with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce began in 2002 when she joined as the Events Coordinator. Over the past two decades, Valenzuela has held various key roles, including Membership Coordinator and Finance Coordinator. Notably, she has also overseen the award-winning Hire Me First program, demonstrating her commitment to supporting local employment opportunities.

Valenzuela’s Expertise and Leadership: Having assumed the interim CEO role in July, Maria Valenzuela has already proven her ability to effectively manage the Chamber’s daily operations. Her exemplary performance in each role she has held within the organization has garnered the admiration of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The board noted that Valenzuela’s dedication, combined with the strong relationships she has cultivated within the community, uniquely positions her to lead the Chamber as its CEO.

Support from the Chamber and the Community: Dave Garcia, the Board Chairperson for 2022/23, expressed his enthusiasm for Valenzuela’s appointment, highlighting her alignment with the long-term vision of the Chamber.
